Pressure Plugs

Pressure Plugs, ¾ Taper - These hex-countersunk plugs are designed with deeper hex sockets to withstand greater forces associated with assembling heat treated materials. We stock them in heat-treated alloy steel, brass, and 316, 304, and 302 stainless steels. Upon request, we make them in titanium, Hastelloy, Inconel, C20, and other exotic materials. Made to the SS-102 Socket Products Bureau Standard.

Pressure Plugs, 7/8 Taper, Flush Type - These hex-countersunk plugs have all the same features as our ¾ Taper Pressure Plugs, however, the taper on the thread is steeper, creating higher thread engagement forces at the top sealing threads. These plugs have diameters adjusted to engage further, so that the top of the part is flush with the face of the mating thread. We stock them in heat-treated alloy steel, brass, and 316, 304, and 302 stainless steels. Upon request, we make them in titanium, Hastelloy, Inconel, C20, and other exotic materials. Made to the SS-102 Socket Products Bureau Standard.
